August Already?

Well, summer is coming to a close. We've got Bryce home for a few weeks before Fall Semester starts up. So we are enjoying our last few weeks of summer. Here are a few pictures we've taken lately.

 We got Owen a new toy a few weeks ago. We borrowed one just like it from someone in our ward when Spencer was little and he loved it. Owen loves it too and it's been great for everyone...

 Owen is kind enough to give Spencer a turn in it every once in a while. Thankfully he doesn't try to sit in it too often anymore. He just likes to show Owen how to play with all the toys.

I feel like this picture needs no explanation. It does remind me of a picture in this post though. Can you guess which one? 

 Aunt Sarah (aka Wah) came and stayed with us for a few days on her drive home to Oklahoma. We had lots of fun and Spencer definitely misses having her around. One day after she left Bryce was fake crying and Spencer turned to me with a really concerned look on his face and said, "Oh no! Daddy misses Wah!" We all thought it was pretty funny.

Spencer has been pretty obsessed with being baby Owen lately. He wants to be baby Owen and Owen is big boy Spencer. His new thing is to do a lot of what baby Owen actually does. The other day he wanted to sit in the stroller and play with Owen's toy. So I put him in there and next thing I know Spencer is chewing on Owen's toy...just like Owen does. And as you can tell from the picture he has also been asking to be wrapped up just like Owen. It's actually kind of great because he actually stays in his bed without coming out of his room 5 (or more) times.
