Our Life

 Here are just a few things we do during the day to keep ourselves busy while daddy is away at school.

 We build forts. Spencer is in love with his cars sheets! They make the best fort.

 Sometimes we just hang out in bed. Until Spencer rolls over on top of Owen anyway.

 

We do this a lot. Spencer could play with his trains for hours! Well, actually not really hours...maybe a half hour. Owen is usually pretty happy watching the trains go around.


During Owen's naps Spencer and I usually try to do some fun things together. I can't say it happens every time. Sometimes I decide to clean or fold laundry or shower or something. :) Anyway, this is what we did today. Spencer is obsessed with Little Einsteins. It's all he wants to watch and yesterday while playing with a little airplane he was singing the Little Einsteins song. This is his version: "We're going on a mission, start the count down. Five, four, two, three, four!" So we went to Disney Junior and printed out rocket and all the Little Einsteins.

 It's really hard to get a good picture of Spencer looking at the camera. I told him that I needed to see his eyes...not quite what I was going for Spence.

This kept him entertained most of the afternoon.

We also try to go on walks and play on the playground (or playgroup as Spencer calls it) whenever it isn't too hot outside. Tomorrow is supposed to be 102 so pretty sure we will be inside all day!

Bryce actually isn't gone too much yet. He is just taking one anatomy class over the summer and he usually gets all (or most) of his studying done by 5 or 6.

So we still get plenty of play time with daddy! We're just enjoying him now before he's fall comes.
