We made it!

Well, we are pretty much settled here in Kansas. Bryce had orientation today and starts classes tomorrow! We are really liking our apartment and our new ward so things are looking good for now!

Spencer and Owen have both adjusted to the new place pretty well. I mean really Owen doesn't notice a difference. He's in the same crib so that's all that matters. But Spencer is loving that he can now open the doors. It was pretty terrible at first because he wouldn't stay in his room at night. But we locked the door on him a few times and he did not like that. So he figured out it was better to just stay in his room so he could open the door when he woke up in the morning. Whenever we locked the door he would yell "Open the door right now mommy! Don't lock the door!" Our neighbors were probably wondering what we were doing to our child but it worked out alright. :) That Spencer is quite a character.

I have been wanting to do an update on Owen so here's a little one. He is now 3 months old! At his two month appointment was weighed 13lbs 6oz. That was a month ago so who knows how big he is now. He is loving his hands and is drooling like crazy. He has rolled over a few times but doesn't do it too often. He loves to play on his tummy for about 5 minutes. Sometimes longer if Spencer is playing with toys around him. It is so cute to see him stare at Spencer like he's so interested in what he's doing. I think they will be best buds when they are older. Owen is probably the loudest baby ever. He doesn't cry too much but when he does you can always hear him. And he hates hates his carseat. Sometimes he gets so angry that his face gets all red and his head gets all sweaty and he can hardly breathe he's crying so much. It's slightly ridiculous. So I try for now to avoid driving in the car alone with them. He is usually a pretty happy baby though. And a pretty good sleeper. We definitely love our baby Owen!

Spencer likes to get in the crib with Owen. In fact one of the first few nights in our new apartment Bryce went in during the middle of the night to get Owen because he was crying. He walked in and was pretty confused when he saw someone sitting up in the crib! Apparently Spencer wanted to help out with baby Owen too.
